I need to come up with a good Halloween costume this year and time is running out! Last year I went as the tin man and my friends went as the scarecrow and lion from the wizard of Oz.
This year I'm thinking of going as a garden gnome or going with my friends as the american team in beerfest. I'm not too excited about either of those though. You guys have any better Ideas? |

I'd say: go as a pack of zombies. Nothing more chilling then a pack of living dead roaming the streets.
Edit: And moaning "braaaaiiiinssss" once in a while might add a bit of credibility too. |

My daughter wants to dress up as a Princess this year- but that might not work for you.
How about as a lamp? That way, once you get drunk no one will know because you were already running around with a lampshade on your head. |

Why don't you go as "The Three Musketeers" then you can shoot the rest of the little buggers, and stop them knocking on my door and threatening to burn my house down, if I don't give them money.

Then you will be able to see if you can scare any old ladies into heart-failure. Pretend you're a bush, and jump up and yell "boo" whenever one walks by.
Reminds me of a funny story actually- about twenty years ago my first wife worked in a hospital and occasionally had to visit the psychiatric ward periodically to speak with the staff. Pretty low-tech affair- two giant sliding steel doors with an anteroom between "inside" and "outside". Anyways, there was this long-term resident who would run like a bat-out-of-hell at the inner door as soon as it opened, usually resulting in amount of physical contact between him and the slab of sliding steel. Then, this resident would follow the person coming in like a small dog nipping at one's heels asking the same questions over and over again; "are we there yet, when will we arrive, how soon before we'll stop" and stuff like this. To the best of anyways ability to determine, any person who moved was either a vehicle, or riding in a vehicle, upon which this person thought they were taking a trip.
Now comes the punchline. How did they get this patient to stop following and asking the questions over and over again? They would say "I am a bush" (sometimes they said a tree) and stand still for a few seconds. The patient would stop, think about it for a bit, then go off somewhere else. No ghillie suit was required for this, however. |

I actually hate Halloween, in my country. It's not our tradition, and the only people who really eat their heart out are Goths. I mean, that ain't a pretty sight. |
