I like this target! This will be a faster competition, but simpler (not necessarily easier). I'll use both hands!
I hope I can shoot it on Wednesday: I'm off work then. I'm off today, too, but it's raining cats and dogs here. And I'll be away over the weekend.

Atrocious is more like it! Seven pluses, eight zeros, 5 minuses = total score of TWO.
I shot: Beeman P3 pistol, Beeman 1261 wadcutter pellets, one-handed.
Whatever the rules allow, my answer is that an air pistol is a one-handed, 10 meter, open sighted, offhand gun, and that's how I'm going to shoot it.

Doh! Oh well. I'm still waiting for the weather to clear up so I can shoot. Maybe I can score a '5' if I try real hard!
How are you making out with the digital camera, Jim? |

I never gave the camera a thought since I'm having so much trouble with the pistol that it really doesn't matter!
Today's just not my day for shooting. After I shot our Week 5 competition, I warmed up good on the 10 m Olympic targets, and still, my best paper was 33 / 50 (though I was proud to have counted an X-ringer among the score! ): not as good as the 36 / 50, 37 / 50, 71 / 100 scores I've been doing lately.
I feel really jittery today: probably too much coffee this morning. Maybe I'll try the Olympic targets again later today.

Whoever named this target "Novice" was dead right, tried it with a rifle Crap, tried it with a pistol Crap.
I've got the shakes this week it could be sex, beer, old age or a combination of them all, anyway here goes, Two entries this week.
Target 1
QB78 .177
Scope hawke 3-9x40OA used at 4x40
Pellets Hobby wadcutters
weather 16c cloudy no wind
Time 15.05-15.13
20m
Score 4 + 1x -11 in the white= -7
Target 2
Rohm Twinmaster .177
Sight Walther MRS red dot
Pellets Bisley Practice wadcutters
Weather 16c cloudy no wind
Time 15.25-15.28
10m
Score 6-10 in the white= -4
I think I'll get a set of darts like dedpool.

Looks like bad shooting's all around today.
I went back this afternoon and tried 3 more Olympic cards: 25 / 50, 32 / 50, 35 / 50.
I was very proud, though, that on the "32" card I managed a perfect X!

Hey! So go find some targets and give me some links- there's plenty of space to stick targets in our 'target directory'. I used this one this week because it seemed simple enough ( ) oops! There was also an "Advanced Challenge" version- with 40 targets on the same size sheet of paper!
If people hunt out targets- I can certainly store them online and people pick/choose ones they'd like to see for the shooting competitions. |

Hi Dedpool I've just had to re-score my target and looking at yours I think your score is: Bull 2,4x,8,13,16,17. a total of 6+1x -8 = -2+1x

Crosman Quest .177
4x15 Crosman crap scope (blurry- will be trashcanned soon)
Crosman Copperhead Wadcutters
58*F, 30km/h wind gusts across shooting range
Yeah, baby! I am the king! Beat this score! Points scored: 4, Neutrals: 9, penalties: 7. So I get a minus 3 no X's (-3)! You guys can't touch me now!!! |
