Having an assortment of .22 caliber JSB Match Diablo Exact Jumbo pellets and a fresh bottle of CO2 in the Hammerli 850, I have chronoed them and offer the results below. The rifle is stock right out of the box, although it is due for a visit to Roald. I get great groups with all these pellets: the 850 and I love those JSBs.
Until that visit....
<PRE>
.22 Pellet |Weight (grams)| Lo | Hi | Avg |Sprd |StdDev
-------------+--------------+------+-------+------+------+------
Jumbo RS | 0.870 | 616.7| 637.2 |630.0 |20.52 | 07.00
Jumbo | 1.030 | 587.2| 597.8 |593.1 |10.62 | 03.31
Jumbo Heavy | 1.175 | 543.5| 559.5 |550.1 |16.08 | 06.32
</PRE>
If zeroed for RS pellets, my 850 needs elevation UP 10 to zero with Heavies.
