| I was looking at the Gamo Maintenence kit for my Gamo Big Cat 1200. Does anyone know how good it is? |

| If you are talking about the plastic white rifle holder and cleaning kit it is a piece of junk. I had one and returned it. The cleaning rod was too short to fit the barrel of a CFX or a Shadow Express shotgun both by Gamo. The cleaning tips would not screw into the cleaning rod. The rifle support wobbled every time you touched the rifle. |

Make your own with a piece of weed whacker line and a lighter.
Or simply get a nylon coated ramrod (noncoated WILL scratch your barrel!).
Should not need an actual bore brush, but if you must, bronze, brass or nylon only. Steel will scratch your barrel.
Search the "rifles" topic about cleaning and care. This is a dead horse, being beaten for the millionth time. (Don't worry, I beat it myself too) |

| I agree the weed whacker is the best. |
