Shocked so after multiple emails and unanswered phone call i am left wondering. my 97k was advertised as med. rings included, no rings came with rifle. a bit bummed that now i have to just look at her. Mad does anyone know how long i should wait before i have to purchase a product that was supposed to be included? id like to play with my rather expensive toy. Rolling Eyes frustrating to say the least. i just need to know the deal and dont think im asking to much. walt. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

looked up the med. profile beeman rings on there site and see there out of stock till possibly the 15th. i wish they would have written a note or something letting me know there on back order if thats the case. it would save the customer from wondering and seems it would be pretty easy for them to do. who knows. Neutral

That's a bummer Walt...new toy,no rings...I'd be chomping at the bit as well.P.A. is usually good with following up...usually in a day or so.A thought...if they won't have the rings in stock soon, maybe you could ask for a substitution?I get the frustration though, and I agree with you...an explanation,or substitute rings should have accompanied your order....Having a new German girlfriend, and not being able to shoot your gun yet is never any fun.... Wink Laughing
Staring at that pretty girl on the wall in anticipation equals torture for air gunners everywhere.

So, go to a local gun store and spen $10-$12 for a set of cheap rings to use while you get the situation resolved with PA...... Ino way I would wait---I would HAVE to shoot that beauty!!!
I must say I'm surprised that they haven't reacted to your inquiry...I sure hope this isn't indicative of them "going down the tube" with customer relations....they've always been so good at least in my experiences with them> please keep us posted.

gee...no thought given that it is a little over a week till Christmas and by far their busiest time of the year.
I agree...they should have responded to you...but I'm amazed how the patience level of the averge person has now dropped to zero.
Tell me...do all of you rushing to castigate Pyramyd (likely the best place out there) always respond to your emails immediately.
And let's be honest on that one.

i do respond right away, but your probably right. Neutral i dont mean to bash them and i really like there site i guess ive just been lusting after this setup for well over 6 months and i was really frustrated. Rolling Eyes im sure its the holidays but first come first serve so i would think a customer that already has been in line and paid in full would get attention. maybe its just me. Question just a bad combination of busy time of year and long time coming for the rifle. im sorry for slamming them and really like the company. i guess the frustration got the better of me. appology accepted? Embarassed walt.

Walter, GLAD to hear that you did get a response.....No need to go overboard with the apology though, IMHO...They didn't wait to take your money!!! and they should NOT have waited to respond to your inquiry...most folks aren't all laidback and OK with the way things are..I have never been , nor am I likely to ever be..since I don't get e-mails from people that I offer products and services to, I don't HAVE to answer them immediately, but they on the hand, after taking my money, DO have an obligation to me.....

packrat...really, I'm not trying to be a priss here...but
I work in the industrial photographic industry, meaning I sell to gov't, schools, military, law enforement...that sort of thing.
Around this time of year I have many of these people emailing requests for personal items...mostly gifts for Christmas presents.
Yesterday (I'm not at work today...hence the luxury of hanging out on airgun sites) I had 37 emails from such clients regarding Christmas gifts. This does not include the usual purchase orders and quote requests.
Some of them will not hear from me till tomorrow when I am back at work.
Really...do the math (time). Maybe 50 emails all told...plus I actually have to work the quotes and get product sent to shipping.
Ya know...sometimes you just have to chill and wait a day...others may have been in line before you and they figure there problems are just as important as yours.
Take this as the 'other side of the coin'.

bobtodrick-- I agree with you-- it's just that I went through something like that a time or two...when you put out $600-$700 for an airgun, ya get a "little antsy" about getting it, or at least I do. So I know the feeling, but, it IS "the seasin" and I'm sure that's not the only goof-up PA will make during this time. BUT..Walter's calmed down since he heard from them, siad he's not holding a grudge over it, so it's actually ALL good.....maybe I've been reitred so long I've forgotten what working in retail sales is like during the holidays...who knows??? PA may just throw a tin of pellets or something in the box to try and make up for the mistake...I hope they do Mr. Green

thanks pakrat...In all honesty I admit I can be pretty impatient too.
Just that I'm old enough to remember when (for example) you took your roll of film to the drugstore and waited with happy anticipation for them to be ready a week later.
Now we have people who get upset when they bring in their memory card on a busy day and you tell them it will be an hour before their prints are ready.
Anyhoo...today I gotta deal with all those emails from the day before ;-)
