thanks. First air rifle in 25 years. 2 months old and I must have 500 rounds thru it.

Condor looks to be the next choice.

Mild obsession....

Keep hanging out here and you'll get over the "mild" part. Smile

Nice shot, were you supported at all? The XL 1100 is a beast, I wouldn't trade mine for anything. Just seeing pics of the gun or it's victims brings a wild urge to shoot the gun!

Thank you. I was supported, table with bags. This gun is a beast!
Trigger mod is a must! I even went as far as to polish and balance the piston.

And thinking about: porting the chamber and shorting the barrel.?.

P.S. This morning.

Very nice kills. I hope you plan on broadening your target selection with some larger game.

Coons later this year. Something about hunting at night with laser optics.

The head wound looks like the exit wound. Did you shoot him in the a$$ and it went straight through?

I don't think you need 1000 fps for that size animal, hehehe.

It will be good for the 'coons though. Domed pellet right behind the ear will do the trick, even on a 40 pounder.

Looks to me like the pellet went up through the gut,and came out the side of the head.....I think they call that a Texas head shot.... Twisted Evil
If that head wound is an entrance, the pellet did it's job.....and then some.. Shocked
