I have the Gamo Big Cat 1200 to go real small game hunting with. But it is to fast to take the Woodpeckers puttting holes in my house. The Gamo Big Cat would leaves holes in my house too. Is the Daisy Powerline 880 good for this? Hurry because i have to get these wood peckers out of here!!!

im not familiar with that rifle but i would guess yes. thats too bad as i think woodpeckers are some of the coolest birds around. Crying or Very sad but i guess you gotta do what you gotta do. good luck.

get a crosman 760...$29 at wal-mart. Perfect for this. I used to use mine on the grackles crapping all over our patio when I was growing up. It's somewhat tedious to have to pump for each shot, but I always had lots of targets to hit...you can't have that many woodpeckers...
