The heaviest pellets I am aware of in .177 are EunJins at 16.1 gr.... There are lots of pellets in the 10.2 to 10.6 gr. range as well.... Crosman Premier Heavy, Beeman Kodiak / H&N Baracuda, JSB Exact Heavy, etc....

Pyramyd Air carry them.... I would be careful with that heavy a pellet in a Springer.... it could cause dieselling....

| I get Crosman Premier Ultramags locally (10.5 grain). Cabela's Ultramags are the same thing. |

I got the 16.1's from Airgun Depot...
What the heck is '' DIESELLING '' ???
I thought there was a lot to learn when I got into shooting 1,000 yards, this springer things seems to be more confusing than I ever thought..... |

A spring-piston gun can be just like a diesel motor. You take all the heat energy in a large space, cram it into a small space, and the temperature goes up. Any low flash point lubricants go BOOM!, and your seal and spring are toast. Maybe.
A light pellet moves down the bore quicker, creating extra volume. A heavy pellet is more sluggish, allowing maximum compression. Some say heavy pellets are a risk, others say no. I've been shooting 10.5 grains in my G1 for a couple of seasons now (with no ill effect), but I don't think I'll risk anything heavier. Leave the really heavy pellets for the pre-charged pneumatics. |

BUBBA---you might want to consider buying from Pyramyd Air..you live in Indiana, they are next door in Ohio...AirGun Depot is way off in Utah....you'd probably get way fast delivery from PA |
