Is D day....from there on all PCPs are to be classed
as restricted wepons and a FAL will be required
to own/buy one... Crying or Very sad
There is amisty period till the 14th jan 2011 then if yer
don't have a FAL...you have to sell / gift to some one with a FAL
or hand it into the police for destuction { No compasation will be payed}
The new act states and gun that is precharged from a
tank or pump....NOW how will the efect guns with a
onboard pump..ie Crosman 1377 / Daisy 953 etc..
The law makers proply don't know they even exsist..

My 1377 as a resticted wepon but my webley Patriot .25
is legal....dumb dumb dumb Shocked Shocked Shocked

What does FAL stand for? From looking at the internet it seems to stand for Full Auto License. If so how does that relate to a PCP air rifle?

Everything that is not a break barrel is a full automatic auto cannon that has the potential to DESTROY THE WORLD! Or at least New Zealand.

california burner laws.

airguns in this state are still off the radar, for now.

Yeah for now.... Rolling Eyes Laughing While were at it we should restrict kitchen knives because they may be deadly,or stairs because someone may fall down them..... Shocked Razz Laughing

Deaths from bee stings in the U.S. yearly 90-100....Deaths from air guns 2 or so....Damn that means sports such as golf are likely more dangerous than shooting an air gun.....

How does one acquire a FAL over there? Picking one up at the City Hall or something? Or do you have to go trough a test of some kind.

Beats being obliged to join a club and the royal dutch shooters association (and this is only because they're the only ones), then shoot for one day each week for a year (depending on the club), then being judged by the club if you're allowed to buy a firearm, including the stuff you mentioned.

Of course, it still doesn't apply to airguns here, but it probably will be.
