I had a thread started in the hunting forum about getting my new RWS, well today I got home from Buffalo with the GF and started shooting 
I bought the package that came with the RWS 4X scope and so far I'm pretty damn pleased. I only got about half an hour to shoot tonight because it started getting dark. I was only shooting from 10 yards away too, sitting in a lawn chair resting on the back of a cloth lawn chair.. 10 yards away and I'll show the devastation lol.
The big blue circles were used for sighting and the holes above the leaf were my last ten shots. The bottom and top shots were the outliers
Here is the grouping from 10 yards away, i shot at a paper target with a leaf tacked to it lol. That was about 10 shots, and the 2 outliers were scatter shots that I'll attribute to a new gun 
Here shows the whole grouping from 10 yards compared to a quarter, without the 2 outliers it was closer to the size of a dime.
Last shot of the night, it was getting dark and I decided the thumb tack looked like it needed to be taught a lesson. The blue one was what I wanted to use to compare, and the nail looking thing was what happened when I shot the head right off of the tack! One shot Bullseye!
Needless to say right out of the box with little sight adjustment this gun did pretty damn good. I love it already and I cant wait to shoot even more and get even more accurate!!

Run a few hundred more pellets through it and it will tighten those groups up quiet a bit.
I'm up to around 750 shots with my 34 and at 25 yards I am starting to pull 1/2" - 3/4" groups with 10 shots, a good scope and a home made sand bag. |

| yeah I didnt put too many through it tonight but tomorrow morning im pretty excited. This gun is so much more accurate than my old powermaster 66 lol. These damn rabbits will be eaten one of these days shortly when I'm a little more comfortable with this gun. I have a pack or rws superdomes but I want to get the gun zeroed in a little more before opening those, for now its crossman Hollows |

Welcome to AirGunHome lew-e and I hope you enjoy your new gun.
As spotco2 says the grouping will tighten up when the barrel gets leaded in, but zero the gun with the pellets you are going to use, the Superdomes not the Crosman, as the zero will change with different pellets, also the accuracy will be better with a domed pellet than a hollow point.

Oh i know I should shoot the superdomes for final zeroing, but right now I'm enjoying shooting the hollows as they are cheaper and im still breaking the gun in. This morning I shot a bunch and zeroed in at 20 yards, I can hit a quarter pretty accurately. If it wasnt so damn humid today I'd be out there shooting now. It can wait though.

| I'm shooting pretty good groups when I shoot from a rest but standing I'm having some issues. Tonight I was able to shoot a quarter size grouping from 10 yards standing, but I feel like it can get much better. Any advice? |

| I got my rws 34 last xmas and ive shot about 1000 rounds through it and im very happy with it. Very accurate and reliable. Two years ago i got a crosman 1000x and it broke in 6 months..... But i think this will never break. Great choice. |

I just ordered a 34P. I'm getting it to shoot longer distance with a scope. I've been shooting a Crosman Phantom that I've had about three weeks. I added a GTR-III trigger to it and just added a Weaver peep. With the peep and stock front sight, I shot this 20yd, 10 shot group today. If a Phantom shoots this good with iron sights, I can't wait for the 34 with a scope.

| Got the 34. I'm really impressed with build quality. I shot it some and put the scope on yesterday. I'll finish sighting in today. If I can hold it the same way each time the gun will shoot some outstanding groups. |

| I've gotten sighted to 40 yards. For 46 yards I was having a hard time maintaining a proper hold. I'll try again later. |
