For those here that shoot both airguns and powder burners. I know that a lot of powder burner scopes won't work on powerful springers due to the kind of recoil springers have but will all airgun rated scopes work on powder burners like a .50 cal black powder rifle?

I'm pretty sure the Leapers TS (True Strength) models will work. Those things can be dropped on the ground and not lose zero.

Not sure generally about the others. I'll let the experts have the floor here.

An "airgun" rated scope will work on a powderburner- the airgun-rated scope is supposed to have better cushioning to counteract the dual-recoil, and thus is also better set-up for a powderburner as well.

That being said of course, a cheapy "airgun" scope may not hold up on a Magnum-class springer and may not hold up on a powderburner with excessive recoil- i.e. a Winmag 700 or such- but that's a specifi product defect/issue not an "airgun scope" issue.
