Mine seems awfully heavy to me. It has a screw in the front of the trigger assembly to reduce creep, I think. To lighten the pull you could install a lighter spring, but you'll have to find one that fits. I don't suppose I have to suggest extensive testing, and a good read up on the trigger. Kidding: You could look for t-01, t-05 or t-06 assemblies on the internet. But I was bored and already did it for you. This seems to be the T-01: http://www.network54.com/Forum/184474/thread/1227047934/last-1227241783/Diana+48-52++T01+trigger+disassembly-assembly++%28picture+warning%29 I think the T-05 is with a plastic safety-ma-jig in stead of a curled stamped metal one as you can see in the pics at the linked forum. All Diana's use basically the same trigger unit, however since there are newer triggers there may be some differences but this link may help, at least to learn and understand how the triggers may work. http://www.eddiecolwell.tzo.com/RWS-54.htm This here seems to be the T-05: http://www.pyramydair.com/schematics/rwsmodelt05trigger.asp And from the Diana website: http://www.diana-airguns.de/index.php?id=11&L=1&width=1280&height=800 I found these with relative ease.
