Had to take a break from the whole boring process of making muzzle brakes...
So a RockStar and two beers later...
Vola! Double tube HPA 2250 Pistola...
654 fps peak
.22 cal using JSB Heavies
10 usable shots with a 7.5" barrel
I have still have some tuning to do...

Sweet set up...I take it you used a Disco valve...is the valve stock,or did you tweek it a bit,to get those numbers?Nice FPS for using JSB heavies, and a short barrel...
Still playing with the idea of building a nice PCP pistol....maybe one of these days I'll make it happen...... |

Technically yes and visually no
I'm waiting for Bob to chime in and figure it out...
Lets just say the structure of the whole thing is pretty damn solid....
I am making two bands and a filler to go between the gas tubes more for style points and to keep the two tubes from twisting.
@ Mark....
The valve is molested but I left the Tx port of the "Stock" 2240 barrel alone to act as a choke to keep from wasting air since it only has 9" to get up to speed...
BTW... I finally found a use for the UltraMag pellets... Thump like Hell in this pistola. 3/4" plywood at 10 yards is no match...
I am going to turn a power adjuster after work today and start dialing it in. But 17 shots at 600+ fps is damn good for a HPA Pistola...
BTW... Kyle is calling it the "The Law Giver" Think Judge Dredd... |

A very mean looking pistol Joe, I like it! Well most of it, not to keen on the lower short tank, but the rest is great. Lets see the other side?
The breach to the muzzle are inspirational and where did the grips come from?

I wanted something that I can stick in a holster for walking around in the field that had a greater shot capacity than my HPA 2260 in the 600+ fps range and in .22... so I needed the extra air capacity... Besides it's a comfortable weight for either one or two hand shooting...
The trigger/grip frame is Blue Fork Desighn and will accept any M-14/AR15 grip. If you can still find them... a 45 frame adapter will also fit to the frame allowing you to use the 45 grips from either a paintball gun or a 1911
I made the fluted barrel and brake... RJ Machine did the Riser long breach. |

I'm guessing that the 1/8" NPT nipple screws into that and takes the shear load.... right?....

Yep... Stainless steel and steel end plug in the lower tube...
Okay.. I cheated a bit... it's not just the fittings that are threaded... the tubes are too... No play what so ever under pressure...
I still need to mill the bands so there won't ever be a issue of the lower tube twisting if dropped. |

I'm dying to finish up and see what it will do out in the field... I sighted it in yesterday at 10 yards and was dime size grouping till I blew through my back stop...
Not bad for a stock 2240 7.5" barrel pushing 600+ fps...
The valve & barrel are still breaking in... I can't wait for it to settle down....
Right now it's still fluctuating in velocity even with a Regulated tank tethered to it...
The barrel band is done and waiting for anodizing...
Bloop tube is done... It' needed to be a bit more neighborhood friendly |

Finally got out in the fields for some plinking...
We were nailing Quadrant targets at 50 yards, standing, off hand...
This puppy is just fun to shoot.
It's nickname is "Wild Child"
