I recently got a Marksman 1010...It won't really shoot my hight quality H&N Finale Match pellets.
BBs are O.K. but the pellets kind of fall out the front.

I am itching to try some airgun darts through it.

My best BB shooting through this pistol is "From the Hip" with one hand.
When I use the Weaver stance and sight it I can't even hit the paper at 5 yards but ...from the hip I can keep it in the circle at least.

This gun is fun

Does anybody know where I can get the "bolts" that ae supposed to be shot through the 1010?

I think you are the first person to suggest a Marksman 1010 is "fun". Usually it's "frustrating" or simply "@#@^W$%$!!!@#%^!".

I believe you can get the darts from PyramydAir.

Ok...ok so it is not too accurate. I think I can learn to shoot it well.
I got the gun and a lifetime supply of BBs for cheap so I am enjoying it.

I have one with 1/2 round through it. I say 1/2 because the burr on the muzzle crown was so bad the pellet stopped in its tracks. Haven't had the desire to work on it.

I bought some .177 cal darts from an E-Bay seller "Damn Big Yank" He has good (rare) pellets.

The darts are like a joke. they fly in like a corkscrew flight-path. I am amused but they cannot be used for anything in the Marksman 1010. The "barrel" is 2 & 1/2 inches long.

I could blow them through a soda straw better.

This are what the darts look like.

I am tempted to put them in a quality .177 cal pellet gun to see if they can be shot straight.

you'll only damage the rifling. i have some and they work good
in my smoothbore crosman 760. extreme penetration
at low velocity. as in 3 pumps and you'll never pull them out of
plywood.

Well I have had it.
There is no using the Marksman along side of even a $40.oo gun.

I am selling it on GunBroker.com
(plus a lifetime supply of bbs and some darts)

Can't stress using a smoothbore for darts enough!

That's why no one uses darts anymore. Smoothbore rifles and pistols have become a bit rare, or just cheap and useless.

The tranquilizer dart guns are .50 cal smoothbore.

http://shop.pneudart.com/products/Model_179B_Pistol_CO2-7-3.html

is the website that sell them.

I'm not saying this has a home in sport air gunning... Just interesting.

These darts were shot out of my old Crosman 781 from 25 feet .
They are not very accurate but they are fun to try ones and awhile .
I find them to costly . Evil or Very Mad

Nice shootin'

That is how I should have been using them.

I have no safe indoor space to shoot airguns (even the marksman 1010 with darts)

The gun and ammo did not sell on gunbroker.com

I will try again around Thanksgiving (for Chriscmas) or in the spring (for summer fun)
