I don't have a basement and am considering doing some shooting in my home. So I am trying to research low powered pistols for a little less than 5 meters. I want something that will punch paper but not have much power so if the target is missed then there will be little or no damage. I have been experimenting with soft air guns but don't care for the plastic BB's I would prefer pellets. any ideas?

I use a custom 2240 rebuilt with a .177 barrel (so I can use the cheap .177 pellets) and a cut down hammer spring and RVA (to give me 100+ shots per CO2 cartridge). Very accurate, lotta fun and cheap cheap to use Smile Adjust the RVA for 10 meter, or crank it up for small pests.

cheers
Jeff

Nice! Good advice too. Go a step further, buy a custom job via crosman's website, they've 10" match barrel in .177.

Oh, btw....what's the REAL reason you're calendar is still on january of 2010? hmmmm????

A 1377 sounds like it might work. It is a pumper so you can go from 2-10 pumps to adjust power, and its pretty accurate.

ellodrith...nice set of games (NOT talking about the Wii games Smile )

I have an HW 40 (Weihrauch - expensive version of P17) and love it for indoor shooting. Very accurate and quiet enough. Beeman's P3 is suppose to be the same pistol as the HW 40.
