Hmmm, a lot of PCP's have this problem if the pressure inside the tube drops below a certain point. I'm not really sure how it can be solved right now, but while I look at some possible solutions I'm sure someone else will come up with one.
Sounds like O-ring trouble though. Usually these aren't problems that can't be solved.
If it can't be solved, try and see if you can get your hands on another tube. They're not that expensive allthough I have no idea if they're available where you live. |

Not familiar with the layout of Hatsan PCP's- is that a cover for a fill nipple you are pointing at, or some sort of setscrew location?
If it is for a fill nipple (under a cover) you need to find a way of sealing the fitting threads- this is a common problem with many PCPs. If it is a setscrew for the tube end, same thing. A thread sealer such as 'Loctite' should resolve the issue. |

Poor photo.... but it looks like a set-screw....
Let the air pressure go to ZERO.... and by that I mean the gun won't even fart when you fire it with no pellet in it....
Carefully remove the screw and determine what it does.... Is there an O-ring under it? - if so replace the O-ring.... If it looks like there was loc-tite on it then you could do that again.... Allow to cure at least 24 hours before filling the gun again....
It would be best it you looked at a parts diagram or found someone who was familiar with that model.... You really need to determine if there is supposed to even be pressure on that screw or if it is an O-ring leak elsewhere causing the pressure to get to the screw....

either that or it is hard to turn because you still have air pressure in the gun.... If that is the case, be prepared for the screw to become a bullet when you do get it out....
IS THE GUN EMPTY OF ALL AIR?
DON'T PLAY WITH HPA UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING !!!

For more info or parts you could also look at a webley PCP. The tubes are the same layout as far as I know.
Over here we call that hole a quickfill by the way. |

Lubricant? What sort of lubricant? You do not want to be putting any petroleum distillate-based oils in a PCP- silicone oils/greases like those used in SCUBA application only- otherwise you may be in for some issues.
Also, not to burst your bubble- but lube in a 120+ bar leak situation won't fix anything- although it might temporarily act as a thread sealant. I do believe your leak will be returning in short order. |

Thanks AirgunEric ,
just a normal oil , some drops in the hole while the tube was empty and then pumping new air , i wish that was just some dust covering that Seal/Oring ( like heartAttack) and it is now cleaned .Hope so! |

| Do not use regular oils inside a PCP- if enough heat is created in the process of filling the gun, it could get nasty- stick with silicone-based lubes/oils. |

I literally face-palmed after reading that...
Are you going to be on the 5, 6, or 10 o'clock news? |
