Hey Guys
I was wondering if you can re use a bb? Im shooting at some paper targets in front of some old phone books and notice that the bb's look fine after shooting them and started to wonder if I could re use them? or is it best to just discard them?
cheers

I've never tried it but most airgun manufacturers reccomend shooting only fresh ammo. You could try measuring some of your BBs with a micrometer or a vernier to make sure they are not deforming. You could also just try it but you have to be sure you are willing to risk a jammed BB. Decide if you can get at one on your gun before you risk it. May be as easy as driving it out with a piece of brass rod, may be significantly more dificult involving disassembly and such.
BBs are made of steel, so they are fairly hard but they are made of a soft grade of steel so they can deform. |

You can re-use BB's, did it for year,s because they are steel and so they don't deform like pellets. Also if you look at BB's you will find many of them come new with a flat spot on them. Just be sure they are clean so you do not get trash and gunk in your gun. |

donec,
Great advice.
I reused them too.
Growing up the red tubes of Federals were a nickle and nickles were not always real plentiful. |
