Hi guys, great info on the air guns ! I have a question about a rifle i inherited from my uncle long ago, the seals have also dried out (leather ones) they spat out the barrel when i was younger im looking to fix it but i cant seem to find this specific models info anywhere
the stamping is

If anyone has a picture of what the old seal looks like would be a big help to recreate one or order one if they exist for this old accurate Air rifle i love so much !
Sorry for the long post but you guys seem to know your stuff !
Edit : just pulled it apart and its a rubber seal i think but its mangled shriveled and unrecognizable for a size reference, but i think i get the basic shape

Diameter of the piston seal? Likely 1"
You have a couple choices- cut your own leather seal, or use a 1" seal from a modern rifle and an appropriate sized bolt with a convex rear (under the head), cut off the retainer on your piston, drill it through and use the bolt/nut to attach the new style seal. |
