i got one heck of a deal on this scope at acadamy sports. it was on clearance according to the display stand it was sitting on. the guy couldn't find the box for it so he stuck the price tag and bar code to the scope itself.
http://www.shopbushnell.com/detail/BSN+730132A i got it for $35.00 when i tried running the #'s off the tag it came up as the http://www.shopbushnell.com/detail/BSN+170832C when i googled it.
so how does it hold up quality wise. i usually research stuff before i buy it so i don't get stuck with a crappy product, but this was an impuse buy. i figured $35 bucks was worth the risk.

Does it have a stop pin coming out of the bottom of the ring? If not then I suspect it is not springer rated as I have only seen gamo scopes at Academy that are springer rated and none of the people that work at any of the stores here seem to know anything about airguns even though they carry several.

if you mean by stop pin the rings have a bolt that goes through and fit in the grooves of the weaver mount. i would have to use dovetail rings so i can use it on my 2300. apparently they don't know the difference between red dot scopes or binoculars either.

i notice the cross hairs selection isn't square to the scope so it looks tilted a bit. same for the circle with the 4 notches in the north, south, west and east with the dot in the middle is the same way. i guess this isnt a problem when i select just the dot mode.
