After months of planning and working with the government I received my FID card and Just got my RWS 34. I really like it... I'm really glad I went for the wood stock. the first few shots were trees at about 50 yards..... easy. then i went next to one and walked 20 paces (measured step i 3 feet.). So at a distance of about 20 yards, I shot 2 pellets. I missed by about a foot high and 6 inches to the right, but they were only about an inch apart. I reset and hit the target the next try. This is without the scope, standing, and hurrying because the sun was setting and the mosqutos were biting. But for my 1st try at the gun I will take a success rate of 25%.

The scope is a Leapers 3-12x44AO w/ red & green reticle with the SWAT style AO. I really like it and cannot wait to see what happens when the two meet.

Congrats, heard nothing but great things about that rifle.

I've had mine about a month and love it. This is the first air rifle I have owned since a Sheridan Blue Streak 30 yrs ago (just had it rebuilt). Well.....I did try a Gamo for about a week and got rid of it. When you get your scope mounted, I expect you will find that it shoots a 3/8" ragged hole at 25 yards (mine does) with the right pellet.
