Thought its about time I made a start on the PCP
I keep threating to build.....
A few crosman parts will be used..barrel / pistol grip
and a B & A valve..
will be a simlar design to the 22XX guns but the breech
valve & hammer will be housed in a one peice alloy block..
There will be a 53ci / 860cc tank screwed in to the front of
the block...won't look pretty...but will be able to whack
rabbits for hours..and nothing ealse matter but the body count
on a tank..
got held up trying to get a used 22XX for the bits...
Pete

| Looks pretty interesting. That breech is one part? How does the air flow? |

The hole below the barrel will house the valve & hammer
there will be a port going up between the breech section
& valve "crosman style just a lot longer"
The spaceing is so big as a 53ci tank is 80mm in dia..
The bolt handle folds down into the 16mm slot below
the breech section when closed..
There will be a shoulder in the hole for the valve to seat against
with a stainless unit that screws in to lock the valve in place against the shoulder with the tank screwed into the other end of it... |

It’s looking nice Pete even though it’s just a lump of machined ally, can’t wait to see the finished result.
There appears to be a lip on one side of the loading slot, is this to make pellet loading easier?

Al...No theres no lip on the loading slot...
must be the pic....
That is the first thing I have machined in the mill
I made...Had a few issues...All the bits I made worked perfectly
BUT that dam chinese cross slide table..spent the last 2 days re
doing the screw shafts...They kept coming lose in there mounts letting the table travel back and forward about 1.5mm..& if yer tightened them up yer couldn't turn the handles...They now turn on 10mm berrings so yer can tighten them up....TIGHT...
broom...Maybe a tippman stock..but not really thought that
far up the track so far... |

Looks great so far. Kind of reminds me of a gun Beeman carried a few years back. I think it was called a "gamekeeper" or something like that (without going and looking it up). They were made by someone in England and sold in the US by Beeman. I really wish I'd bought one. Similar billet action with a detachable barrel (I think they sold barrels in various calibers) and a tank under the barrel. By taking the barrel and tank off you could pack it in a small case. Slick gun, great verminator.
Looking forward to seeing your project unfold. |

I think this is the gun you refer to the "Colchester Gamekeeper".
