Hello. I'm trying some RWS pellets in my Crossman Quest and they seem to stick out the breech a tiny bit. Other brands sit flush. These RWS are accurate and I'd like to use them. Any problem with them no fitting flush? Also I installed a custom ( GTX 11 , I think ) trigger that I read about here. Very nice improvement. After about 500 rounds on it, I had to give the adjustment screw 1/2 turn as the pull had gotten long. Maybe the screw loosens with use? Maybe some Loc-Tite? I hope it isn't wearing that fast.
Thanks. |

Some pellets fit flush, others stick out, some sit in. Try this. Load a pellet and close the action. Open it, and if the pellet skirt is not damaged, you're in the clear.
The screw may have just came loose from shooting, although I don't know much about those triggers. Wait for someone who knows more about them before you add loc-tite. |

The trigger probably just vibrated out of adjustment. Blue Loctite will work. Stay away from red Loctite, because it's permanent.
If the pellets aren't being damaged when you close the gun, then don't worry about it. You can make a pellet seating tool, if you wish:
