I noticed some of the lead pellets I was using yesterday were warped on the end. Do they make a tool to reshape the backside of the pellet? Does this affect it's accuracy or does the barrel end up solving that lopsidedness? |

I discard the warped ones. I think Beeman used to have a pellet seater that could be used to push the skirt back into shape. |

I think I saw a post somewhere where someone shot 'perfectly-formed' pellets and ones with one side of the skirt squashed in some and he reported they all shot the same.
I'd love to see a slow-mo of pellets leaving the muzzle to see if the air pressure straightens out the skirts before it leaves the barrel. |

That would be interesting to see. |

You can make your own:

It won't take out major "warping," just minor "dings." You will see an improvement with some pellet/gun combinations, but not all.
If you can find a retractable ball-point pen with a metal tip it might accomplish the same thing. |
