Hey- good work. I wouldn't worry about not getting a huge score- at least all your shots found the paper! I think that little Powermaster could've done much worse.

Also- a of couple questions got asked via PM to me- but it would be good for everyone to agree on the answers:

1) What is being scored for the center bullseye circle and then the two, unmarked rings around it? 20, 10, 9 points or are we using the two innermost circles as both 10 points?

2) Are we going to count 'touches' on a higher scoring ring as the higher score? Or does a shot have to be fully within a ring to get the points?

I think for the outer of the two circules it scores 10 and a perfect bull is 10x.

You add up your score, then put the number of X's at the end, so on a tie brake the number of X's wins

Sounds good to me Al- so we have scoring rings of 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 10(X).

What about lines- higher points for touching the line, or solidly inside the line/circle only?

If you touch the line you get the score for that ring "Best edge scoring", apart from the bull which must be perfect.

Okely Dokely- touch the ring, get the points. 10 points and an 'X' for the dead-center bull.

And away we go...

I'll be with you in spirit only the first go-round or two, Eric - no pistol yet - but I did win one on Gunbroker auction, and sent off my check today to the seller: so, soon, ..... Mr. Green

Maybe! At this rate you're looking good. I need to find the time to take some shots when it's still light outside.

I finished it- using a Phantom .22 cal, Crosman Premier Wadcutters at 20m using a crap 4x20 Crosman scope.

I probably should have sighted it in for 20m before shooting! Angry Splat

Score? 158 X (yes, one dead center bullseye on the D target- probably more a fluke than anything). Yes, I am sucking pretty large with this today. Perhaps I should've taken longer than 8 minutes to do it (3:08pm start, 3:16pm end). Heck, I even managed to have a couple go outside the paper and two shots at 'E' landed on 'C' so I had to cross them out and got zero for them.

Maybe I'll be a bit more careful next time, that or drink less caffeine! Very Happy

I vote for some sort of rest being used on the next shoot!
