Hello there, I'm new here and have a question. I have a Colt Defender and sometimes when I pull the trigger, more than 1 BB shoots out. I think it's 2 or 3 BBs all at once. Is it something I'm doing wrong or the gun?

Thanks, John

Hey John, welcome. I am pretty sure it's the defender and not you with the bb problem. I don't think there is much you can do to cause that problem. It sounds like the gun to me.

Heres a possible reason, at least it is with my C11. If you are using double action and you pull the trigger a log ways then decide not to shoot and let the trigger back, a BB may have been loaded into the barrel. So when you shoot next time it loads another BB and you now have 2 in the barrel. If you AGAIN decide not to shoot and let off, next time you have 2 in the barrel and the one you are about to load when you shoot. 2 things to do....one, don't pull the trigger very far and then let off. Complete the shot. two, if you DO let off w/o firing, point the gun to the floor and see if the BB will roll out the barrel like it does with my c11.

If your gun is double action then that is probably why.
