I also see some manufactures sell sample kits. However I don't see anyone selling sample kits of different manufactures. So my question is which is more important picking the right style pellet ie... wadcutter, domed, pointed etc. or the right manufacture ie... crosman, rws, gamo, ect? Also if a gun likes say a crosman wadcutter will it like a crosman domed pellet? If a gun doesn't do well with a say rws domed will it maybe like an rws wadcutter? What is the process you long time airgun pro's use to find the right pellet for a new to you gun or do you just keep trying the pellets you have on hand haphazardly till you find a pellet the gun likes? First, you might want to go for something that most people who shoot with a similar gun to yours will recommend. There is NO rhyme or reason I have found in pellet choice.... Some identical guns like different brands.... Having said that, JSB Exact round nose pellets are my "go-to" type.... Caliber was 4,5. Groups under 2,36 inch. I agree that is quite achievement and shows what is possible. Would it be possible to post a link to where you got that information.
