| I recently purchased a P.26C from a flea market. Gun fired well most of the day. Later, the mechanism that covers the barrel ( dont know the terminology) and loads the chamber when I cock it, will not reutrn all the way so the barrel is not flush. It is able to cock but is not flush with the barrel. Also will not load a BB in the chamber. I have removed the screws from the from the handle area of the gun, yet I am unable to figure out how to remove the sliding mechanism. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. |

A P.26C is a metal body, spring action air soft gun. It has an 200 FPS capability and uses 6mm pellets. It is modeled after the Glock 26C. The manufacturer is Both Elephant. I am new to the air soft community and was trying out this model due to my son's interest. I ran into a problem with the gun jamming and not cocking correctly. Turns out repeated cocking after a jam further jammed 3 pellets near the trigger and slider area. Since my intial post I have since figured out how to disassemble, clear the trouble, and reassemble the unit. [/i] |

I have just gotten interested in airsoft and their guns have very odd names so I should have known it was air soft as the name tells nothing about the gun. |

I don't know that anyone here really has any knowledge of specific airsoft/softair guns- we stick to 'airguns' proper- i.e. lead pellet shooters and occasionally some BB stuff.
The problem with virtually all Airsoft product is that it's made in China, low-dollar stuff and no one has or is interested in carrying parts for them- they are "disposable" product. Your best bet is to take it back and see about an exchange- otherwise you may very well be making your own parts to repair it. |
