Hello again.
I recently bought a kit for my B3 under-lever because I needed a breech seal. Anyways, the kit came with a new mainspring, and a new piston seal. The piston seal is synthetic, and I'm wondering if replacing the factory leather piston seal with the synthetic seal would help my velocity? Also, is the mainspring that came in the kit going to be any longer/better then the factory spring?

| That link doesn't really help. I know how to change the spring, and do the tune up, I was wondering if I should change the spring, do a tune up. |

| A synthetic seal is always better then a leather seal. If the spring looks of better quality, then I wouldn't leave it laying around either. |

Are you sure you have a leather piston seal? Most guns haven't seen leather seals in a couple decades.
I would suggest you likely don't need to change any parts if it isn't a leather seal (check when it's apart, if it's damaged replace it either way)- but cleaning out whatever goo is inside and lubing it properly is probably a good idea the "lube" used in most Chinese springers has typically been a red waxy-substance more appropriate for corrosion resistance than proper lubricaton of metal parts. |
