I tried using two different 3X9 scopes to sight in on a target THIRTY FEET away. The elevation dial cannot turn any more on both of the scopes. They are both maxed out at the end of the UP or RAISE rotation. I guess all 3X9 scopes are not meant to shoot at THIRTY FEET or less? Both scopes came with the springers I bought. My point of impact is two inches from point of aim on the vertical axis. |

Check to make sure the "stop screw" on rear mount is not touching barrel and preventing from mount from being down flush..if that is OK, try switching places with the mounts, front to rear, etc. hope ya find out what the problem is..I know it must be aggravating! |

For shimming you can use a piece of 35mm film stock and shim under the rear scope ring, provided there is enough space to accommodate the shim, or if possible between the rail and mount.
