Never dealt with him myself, but on other forums I hear good things about him. AFAIK a great guy running a top notch business.

JDS airman is also a guy to look out for in the HPA world.

Thanks for reply..I just (last week) bought a 13 cu.in. bottle from jds...I don't think he deals with that sort of thing..all I've seen on his site is "bottles" not "tanks"..BTW bottle he sent me is FIRST CLASS stuff, and his shipping was "with a quickness!!"

That's all I ever hear about JDS.

Of course with one exception. He was "out of business" for a couple weeks when he moved from NJ to Florida.

Man, he sure should be told about this site, he could do a LOT of business here. so WHERE do you guys buy your SCBA bottles and equipment? Obviously not from Joe Question

Yes, Joe's tanks are used....but all have NEW hydro test, so no problem there..a NEW 88cuft SCBA 4500psi tank is like $650..I doubt that a whole lot of folks are going to shell out that kind of cash for an airgun tank?? No big deal to me, I just wondered how SO MANY here claim to be using SCBA tanks, yet none purchasing then through Joe Brancato..just seemed odd. the one I ordered from him will be here this coming Monday with hose and gauge set-up..$350.00 delivered to my door !!!

There are hundreds, maybe thousands of vendors selling SCUBA/SCBA parts/pieces in the US alone- why would any one specific vendor nobody has bought from be a surprise?

Has anyone bought from Miami Dive Supply?
How about LeisurePro in New York?

Seriously, I don't know anything about either of the above- but they took all of about 2 seconds to find, and there were thousands more...

my original question wasn't about where I could find the stuff..it was concerning if anyone here had done business with him and if so, what were their impression(s) of how he ran his business...he's the only one I see advertising on all the airgunsites I visit, that's why I asked

ok, i'm a little late to chime in here. i bought a AAA condor two years ago, and was looking for the usual stuff to go with it. this being my first pcp, i had no idea what i would be needing. i emailed joe brancato about a tank, gauge setup. two days later, he called me and asked what gun i had, how was i going to use it, ( hunting, target, etc. ). by the time we were done talking, i knew more about tanks, gauges, and air fittings than i would've been able to learn on my own in staring at the moniter for hours.
joe's stuff is top quality. all his fittings are stainless steel, not plated brass. he stands behind his products 100%. if there's ever a problem, call him. i will never hesitate to recommend hiim to anyone.
he is also affiliated with Expert HPA.

A) What's an "Expert HPA"
B) A sales pitch for a vendor is probably not the way to start out on a forum- it makes people question your true motives.
