Just another rip-off of Steve Woodward's units.
I wonder why, with his engineering skills, it took him 6+ months to get a copy of the Woodward unit out?
If he actually invented something of his own for once- I might lay off the guy- but constantly copying another person's work gets a bit tiring.
Anyone doesn't believe me? Look at the airguns of arizona website: http://www.airgunsofarizona.com under "Custom Triggers, NCT" they've been there for almost a year. |

All his products were designed/made by Steve Woodward first- they were business partners years ago. Now that they haven't been for quite some time, it appears CDT is just outright copying anything new Steve comes up with. If they came out with products simultaneously, there would be some debate about 'copying' perhaps, but when CDT comes out with the same product as Woodward- but months later, I don't think there's any more room for debate. |

Piracy is always tempting...same product for a fraction of the cost...of course the same could be said for all the Chinese knockoffs and most people don't frown too hard upon those. |

Chinese knock-offs aren't made because some people were pissed off on a personal level. |

And you think that's his main drive? I'm not saying they didn't part on bad terms (since I have no idea), but I'd wager he does it b/c he is making money and its easier to copy than to come up w/original ideas...similar to Chinese knockoffs. |

Bandwagon theory is a fallacy though...not a good reason to continue doing something. And, for the record I disagree w/your comments about MS and Apple. Stealing and being inspired by are thin lines, but not a thin as making an exact copy of a physical item such as a trigger. Software that is similar in function is usually completely different in execution which is in contrast to mechanical devices in most cases. |

Also true. I own a Mac and a PC. I'd go for a PC to do most of my stuff on, however a Mac does offer a bit of that extra (allthough you pay way to much in my opinionl, prices are a bit more on the level on that side of the pond).
I had to get it because they want everyone in my school's course to have the same system running. It's an arty-farty course so the head of our department (who is an arty farty dude himself) decided that we should all have Mac because they're better.
Technically, my Mac runs on pretty much the same chipset as my PC. Even processors are the same, and I can exchange em without trouble.
There's really not that much different though. A lot of Mac stuff runs on Intel technology. I had XP on this Macbook and it ran pretty good. |

Charlie is one of the nicest guys on the net. He has been tunig guns for a long time and has amassed a wealth of knowledge and will personally share it for free. I have emailed him on many ocassions and his skills are unmatched. If you have a problem with the product thats fine, but the man is truly a good guy. |

Maybe he is- but then why keep taking from his former business partner? |

The whole question is who makes the best trigger !
Steve Woodward did not invent the trigger, he just improved upon it !
CDT also improved upon the trigger, and from all information that I have read, has come out with a much improved trigger !
So Steve stole the design from Gamo and Crosman ! Then "improved upon it" and sold it to the general public ! So why don't I see any condemnation of Steve Woodward for his thefts ?
When the GTX trigger was being sold, and CDT started making the GRT, why did Steve stop selling his GTX trigger for several years ? Could it be because his trigger was inferior to the GRT ? And when it appeared again several years latter, why did it take so long ? To copy the GRT-III ?
And again, from what I read in many other forums, Steve's trigger is still not equal to the GRT-III trigger ! Not in any way.
So, Who is stealing from Whom ?
