The bolt on the QB series of guns is quite stiff when new, to make it a lot smoother you need to polish all the mating parts of the action, including the tubes.
To polish tubes cut a piece of dowelling the length of the tube, cut a slot in the end about 25mm deep, get a length of fine emery about 6-8 inches long put one end in the slot and roll it round the dowel, put the other end in a drill and away you go.
Grease well and the bolt should be as smooth as silk.
