| how do i tighten the sleeve around the barre?...it slips everytime i pick it by the barrel |

I guess you have a shroud? Tighten the set screws.
Don't pick it up by the barrel... it has a stock for a reason. |

I don't think they are attached, just kept in place by the front sight. And they're definately not shrouds, they're sleeves, for they don't do anything and they are not attached, only kept in place by the front sight, really.
It always occured a bit strange to me that they're not tightened, but I guess Diana knows what they're doing.
Bull barrels look ace on these.  |

Yes this is merely a barrel shroud! Best pick the gun up by it's stock instead of the muzzle!
The Diana (RWS) sidelevers all have very short fixed barrels with a shroud to protect it. The shroud turns easily and is kept over the barrel by the Front Sight. I know I have one - and a lovely thing it is too..... |
