I just bought four tins of Crosman Premier hollow point pellets. Some fit tight some fit loose and one droped through the barrel. When I picked it up it just felt different.
I was wondering if any one has made a pellet sorter? It would be a chore to measure them one at a time.
I did not open the other 3 tins yet. I wonder what the odds are that they will be from the same batch? My gun liked the last tin of these. |

That's odd. All of the .22 CPH I have gotten are fairly consistent.
You could try a sizing die, but that's not exactly "quick and easy". |

They must have been having a bad day.
I found my plastic circle drawing tenmpate. About half of them drop through a hole marked 5.19 mm. The rest hang at the skirt. |

Half less that 5.2mm!
Return them to where you got them and tell them the problem. It had to have been a bad batch. |

| 5.19mm would be 0.204," so no wonder they're falling down the bore. Take 'em back. |

Or maybe the drafting template is designed to draw 5.19mm circles and is larger than that to allow for the width of the pencil lead....
Just a thought....
I've never had a problem with Crosman Hollow-Points.... now their Pointed pellets?.... that's another can of worms.... half of them will fall right through the barrel....

| Bob you are probably right about the template being over sized to accommodate the pencil. |
