Quick question about a 1077 valve part. In this picture:
I'm refering to the part second on the left, right behind the snap ring, (2-150?)...
I took my valve apart today for the first time and noticed that the "tip" of the valve stem (106-002) doesn't have a tight seal against the ID of that part referenced in the picture (2-150). I understand that the hammer hits this pin and the stem is pushed forward, but how tight should the seal be between this two parts?
It seems like if there is not a tight seal, a lot of the air will escape through the rear of the valve assembly before it travels through the valve stem itself and out to the punger/pellet.
Is this normal, or is the part worn? This gun has maybe 600 rounds through it. |
