The other day I got out of the house for a bit. Needed a rest from sorting through my mother's stuff...OY! Anywho, stopped by Bass Pro. Was checking out what ag's they had in stock. Noticed a new brand I'd never heard of before. "Stoeger". From the name, you'd assume their German made, but I just did a google search, they're made in Italy.
I also did a search on here. Seems nobody's mentioned the brand before. But I'm curious as to what kind of quality they are.
From their website, to me, imho, it seems like the have a basic modle and then offer it in different styles and with various improvements to get higher ratings as you progress up their limited line of 4 rifles.

IIRC, Stoeger used to/still makes some fine firearms...a model of the Luger for one and it seems they have a line of fine shotguns, too.

One of those brands that doesn't really need to be there.

Stoeger doesn't actually make anything themselves. They are an importer.
