Yea to be honest I surprised myself. I dont think a telescopic sight would fit on the 2240. And I've always considered telescopic or red dot sights to be cheating a little. It would be interesting to see how far away from the target you can get with a telescopic scope though. The most surprising part to me was that my best shot was from further than 30m. As far as accuracy goes, I give the 2240 a 10/10. Of coarse I've never shot anything else :P |

Update for you guys on the targets you sent: I am still going through them- 321 in total were sent!
I had about 700 previously, which I never got around to sorting through- but I will finish with these 321 just sent and post as many as I can that aren't, give or take, duplicates of one another, too large space-wise, or have errors in them. So, stay-tuned- I haven't forgotten about this- just trudging along slowly. |

After collecting the random targets from here/there- there were a bit over 330 altogether. Surprisingly, almost 35% were duplicate targets with different filenames. Of the remaining 215 or so, some were not exactly the same target, but close enough, so more were eliminated. Then, due to the size of most actual "pictures"- as in photographs that absorbs a ton of server space- there we 75 targets left, which are all posted up now along with what was already here:

Hi Eric
Those targets I sent were in Word format and for some reason they don't load, delete then and I'll redo in some other format. they are all the one's with a ? next to them.

Hello Al:
One of the targets you had called 10 40mmdotu.doc seems to be corrupted, the 10x 40mm targets are posted as "40_small_white_dots.doc", the others are "4_yellow_with_blue_dots" and "5_white_with_red_dots".
Any targets sent are best sent as .jpg images- that way people can manipulate them how they like to make their own custom targets. If the resolution level is too high and they will suck up site storage and bandwidth, I can also manipulate them re: filesize to be posted. |
