Im hurting.
I just got my G1 back and they replaced my broken scope.
So I spend about 2 hours in the desert today doing my best to sight it.
No dice!! Sad/Cry

I don`t think I can pull it off without a bench and clamp or something.

Worse of all the man at the gun store that sighted my scope for me before is on vacation for a few weeks.

Its been almost a month now since I hit anything ,I just got my G1 back from crosman today(they gave me a brand new one)
It had broke July 5th
Then I had a tech force 89 .22 that was a lemon I had to send back today.
All I want is to be able to hit targets again.
it is so darn frustrating!!

i honestly don`t think I am capable of sighting a scope and its killing me.

In June when my old G1 scope broke,I did my best to sight in a new scope in my backyard, and ended up blowing 100 or so holes in my neighbours garage.
That costed me a arm and leg to fix and repaint.

This sucks,any advice??

What do you mean you can't sight a scope? Justa short while ago you were posting pics of 20 downed birds in an hour. What were you using for that? Iron sights?

What distance are you using?

I had my scope sighted at a gun shop then.
But im in the middle of no where and the guy at that shop that did the sighting is on vacation.

Then that gun broke (the g1) and I just got the replacement on friday.
Even though the bore sighter was broke.
I was able to get it almost sighted today before I took it back.
I managed to hit a bottle from 35 feet a few times in a row.

I really need a laser bore sighter that will work with .177 though.
Im looking on the net for one now,but if someone can point me in the right direction, that would rock.

Well I got my LaserLyte Laser Bore sighter.
It works great.
Gun is sighted in the best it can, still have to aim low over the cross hairs.
My scope dial would not turn down anymore.
But that works for me as long as I know where on the scope to aim at im good.

I shot a tennis ball from 30 feet 5 times in a row so I think im ready to hunt.
I put back on the stock G1 center point scope too ..

you need a higher set of rings. the scope is too low.

You first tf89 was bad too? And they let you keep it for parts?
Is that what you said, and if so what was wrong with it.

On another note the g1 is now dead on
I was sighting it from too close
35 yards andits right in the cross.
I love this laser sight.
