I decided to let you guys see my "custom" backstop. Its 3 haybales on top of a pallet (for drainage) with an old tarp wrapped around it. The tarp is tied in the back and weighted down with bricks. The target board is 3 steaks wedged between the bales with a 1x1 across them. The 1x1 is held in place with golf tees through a hole in the 1x1 and the steaks. Drilled 7 more holes in the 1x1 and it makes for 10 places to set paintballs (well 9 now that I shot one of the golf tees and can't get the thing out of the board!) My 5 yo insist on being in every pic I take! Let me know what you think. Thats how I get so many paintballs to shoot! I tore it apart and replaced all the orings and cleaned and lubed it last weekend. He says it shoots like a new gun. *edit* And she is a very cute kid. I've been considering putting a couple more haybales on either side, but I kind of like the plywood idea.
