| hi again. thanks for the info on the maint. forum.the .177 storm and various .177 pumps, over the years, have mainly been used to dispatch furbearers on the trapline.point blank, small hole, and min. pelt damage. the occasional rabbit, squirrel, mink ect... as bonus bags. also back yard pest control and plinking(20 yrds or less). thing is, now im getting serious about intentionly hunting small to medium game and varmints. this of course will require more gun than the storm. the three weapons im considering are: RWS m34 panther in .22, RWS 350 mag .22, and the walther falcon hunter in .25. i rarely use firearms anymore but can and do call red and grey fox, coon, coyote, and rare bobcats into bow kill range. i won,t lie-i like 350 but not the price. the 34p with heavy HP ammo seems more realistic with proper shot placement( between eye and ear ) 15 yrds or less. id like try small game out to 40-50 yrds. i dont need the frills, just the power and accuracy to do the job- kill ciean! im sure all you hunters out there can weigh in on these guns. im buying friday and no i cant buy all three! also recomend HARD HITTING,ammo for these mag springers as i will get some with the gun. thanks a lot.this will be FUN! |

Hmmmm... RWS/Diana 34, I'd say. The 350 Magnum is a bit of overkill. .25 The Falcon hunter is a rebatched Hatsan and their springers aren't that good. |

| I would not use a springer for coyote, but for everything else under 15 yards you should be perfectly fine with a 34 in .22. I suggest Beeman Crow Magnums, Kodiaks, Crosman Premier HP, RWS superdome/pointed/HP. |

I looked at the RWS panther in .22, but opted for the Hammerli Storm .22. I've never been disappointed, but I also don't know if the Panther would've been better.
I say get the Pather just because I want to know how they are, and I don't know anyone who has one yet! |
