I have the weihrauch pistol which is not that quiet in my flat but does not disturb the neighbours. If I stand outside I just hear a quiet pop that you would ignore if you didnt know what it was. My son wants an 850 Airmagnum to shoot 10m in the flat and 20m in the open.
I have read all kinds of stuff on noise but just cant decide. Some say the 850 is loud some say quiet. If someone has these two guns mentioned above could they give me a comparison.
Silencers are illegal in Austria although whether or not they are legal for airguns is vague and I dont want to test the law.
One option would be to get a vent to lower the 850 down to 7.5 joule (170ms). Would this lower the sound.
