| hey i just started to use my made in china beeman 1040. i'm curious as to what i can do to upgrade this gun. if anybody knows the spring specs on it i would be pleased to know them. |

I don't know what the spring specs on the 1040 are, but there was a write-up on it awhile back: http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=59
If you have it apart, the existing spring size and the amount of space in the tube would allow for calculating the maximum spring size that could be installed successfully. |
