Rich in Michigan, Mick Mellick might do it (he mostly does Chinese guns), I think there's a guy John in Penn.
Post on the yellow forum, you should get many more helpful responses. Or you could just do the tune yourself, but it wouldn't be as good. Here's the link to the yellow: http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/
There are some great guys who can tune your rifle up really nice, although it can end up costing you. They also do a LOT of work, being good at their trade. I suggest to do it yourself and buy the parts from someone like Jim Maccari (www.airguns.citymax.com).
Anyway... welcome to the forum. |

| What kinds of special tools are required? Such as spring compressors. |

| I read that a broken spring guide could cause a loss in power, but would not affect the guns ability to shoot. Is that true and if so could it be easily fixed? |

Somewhat, if the spring stayed consistent with its loss of power. But chances are it won't and what's the fun of shooting a broken gun?
Take an old bar clamp (2 to be safe) and use oak (for strength) planks as a base/cushion, take a spade bit the size of your tube to each side so it doesn't slip out (which would f#ck YOUR DAY UP!).
It's really not hard. Pin punches, screw drivers, pliers, maybe a hair dryer, lube, rubber gloves if you want, sharpening stones, (maybe) wet/dry metal sand paper (fine grit). Most of tuning is applying lubes and polishing parts properly, any idiot can put the gun together.
I actually have what one guy did with his 34. It's just about as simple as you can get. http://web.mac.com/photomark/iWeb/Airgun%20Adventures/Diana%20RWS%2034%20Spring%20Upgrade.html |
