Ok so that last 2 days I could not hit a bird to save my life.
I didn`t know what the hell way going on.
Even want as far as to re sight my scope and still no dice.
Then I noticed a sound of something rattling in my stock scape.
Sure enough the scope had broke.
So I went and got a cheap scope ( I didn`t really want to spend more on a scope then I did for the gun.)
For $30 bucks I got a NcSTAR 6/42 Scope.
All I can say is wow,I didnt even have to sight the scope,it was dead on right out the box.
It can`t zoom as far as the stock g1 scope, but MAN am I a better shot with this (and you guys know from my pics I was already quite a good shot.)
I`m on cloud nine, this scope is great.
In 30 min I just took out 7 sparrows from 40 feet.
I can honestly say im glad the old scope that came with the gun broke.
To any G1 owners out there,I can say you probably really want to get a different scope then it comes with(and this NcSTA 6/42 Scope is a cheap and great replacement)
*Off to snipe more birds b4 dark.* |

| i'm not all that familiar with that brand, is it rated to withstand the double recoil of a springer? |

I think that may be the wrong picture for the scope.
The NCstar 642B is here: http://www.ncstar.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=77
and is airgun rated. Some of the NCstar stuff is pretty good, some of it not as much. For it's price-point, it could be alot worse. Basically, they are about the same as Leapers, but for less money, and likely less hassle on warranty issues. |
