I have been into shooting air guns for 30 years.
I own 12 air guns. (pistols and rifles)
Mainly I target shoot. I really like being able to shoot in the basement at night without waking the kids.
I go through about 3,000 pellets a year.
I shoot almost every day.
In the past, I have had problems with rodents in the back yard.
I try to take care of that. |

I'm new to air guns and just got a crosman 3576 co2 revolver to plink around with and I got my wife a crosman 1088 co2. The sad thing is they just passed a new ordinance here that puts airguns in the same category as firearms so no shooting in town. I really didn't know there was a culture of airguners and I am finding out there is a lot more to it than the BB guns they had when I was a kid. |

Thanks Sniper. I've been looking through the forum and it is quite impressive and shows there is so much more to this than I thought. |

I selected other!
Shoot sh!t is just plain fun, moving or not! Who can afford to shoot a powder burner these days!
I'm a hobby junkie anyways, I'm a 9 handicap, Got a 200 bowling average, got 2 motorcycles, 4 bmx bikes, the list goes on and on.
Perhaps i need to focus on just one |

I started out in air guns just for fun, general plinking. After being in the woods with my gun,I quickly picked up on pest and small game hunting. As time has marched on,I find myself wanting two specific guns.A modified pistol for carrying while I am working on my property and a modified rifle for long range, 50+ yards, small game sniping. So I guess I am into all the choices in the poll.Air guns have recently brought a long time friend and me closer together. He's like the brother I never had. |

Mostly for fun and the mods. Became disabled a couple years back and wanted to find something to do that I could enjoy, both inside and out when I can get out there. This has since become an obsession like with many I think
cheers

I picked "other" because I will be using it for targets and the occasionally target will be a squirrel. |

voted other, because mosin sniper and walther p99 are too loud in cities. neighbors start complaining unless it's 4th of july.
so i picked up a remington npss .177 in digital camo with 3-9x40 scope. now i have a shooting range in our basement |

My boy and I frequently camp at some property that's well within city limits. (I believe) that shooting our little BB Guns on this property is allowed, while shooting 22's wouldn't be. That's our main reason. Besides...they're fun and cheap to own! (at least, the air rifles we own are. I've seen some of the amazing weapons members here have come up with!) |

My initial reason was for house sparrow and starling control, but I had no idea how much I would enjoy target shooting. I could literally sit and shoot for hours if I had the time. |

Because Powder burners need a bath before you put them away...
Air Guns like to be ridden hard and put away dirty! |
