1) Target to download and print: Week 60 & 61; Nov/03>Nov/16/2008

Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at targets, 1 per "star" maximum. 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using "center ring".
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring is 10 points for "blue", 3 points for "black", and no points for white. Only one hit per "star" counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Please scan or photograph entries and post. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries, both for week 60 & 61 - but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) An honorable contest for sport - to lie or cheat is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others.

I need to print on heavier paper, holes weren't clean enough for a good overall scan.

By my count... an 89/200.
Beeman P17
BSA Red dot
Gamo Match wadcutters (need better pellets)
Standing, 2 hand (hand in hand not 2 on gun)
5m
Just under 12 min.

Although I haven't entered before, I have shot many of the targets, I found it very difficult to see the POI if buried in the black/blue without walking to the target between shots. Not enough contrast for my aging eyes. Might try a rifle version tomorrow...

Nice shooting there Bean, I agree there isn't much contrast between the black and blue, I had to keep walking down to the target to see which ones I had shot. makes it intresting though. Smile

Week 61

82/200

5M, 1-hand, open sights, RWS Basic

There could be 28 more points in there, but it is very hard to declare a 'touch'. I also shot one twice - so I took the lower score (3 instead of 10) and scored the one I was supposed to shoot as 0.

Very hard target

Disqualified - no pic

edits for the wrong week and my piss-poor math Embarassed

Not sure we were suppose to do one for both weeks but I decided to go ahead and shoot since I got my replacement P17 today.

Week 61

98/200 - tougher to score some of the close ones with the domed pellets.
A few could be argued better, a few worse
Beeman P17 (v2)
Crossman Premiers
BSA Red dot
Standing, 2 hand.
5m
9.5 min.
