Are some pellet brands cleaner right out of the tin than other brands?
After only 10-20 pellets loaded in my guns, the tips of my finger and thumb are literally covered in lead dust. |

RWS and Beeman I can shoot all day and barely leave anything on my fingers.
CPH and Gamo leave some after like 50 shots, and cheap pellets give it to me on the first one. |

| I agree with fritz. Gamo pellets, Daisy and Crosman pellets, are all really dirty. RWS, Beeman, much better. |

| Actually crosman 's pellets are graphite. THey use it in the swaging process to lube the lead so it doesn't stick to the swaging die. |

Oh wow...this answers a lot of my question then. I have a very old batch of .177 wadcutters that I've had around and they are soooo clean.
Then I run out and buy some Crosman pointed hunters and my fingers are dirty after the first 1 and filthy after the 100th. |

I'm willing...I just didn't want to be picking my nose and introducing lead dust into my system at the same time. |

Well, I cleaned off each and every one of the pellets in my 500 count tin. That should do it. |

But that won't keep me from putting my finger in my nose to get the bat out of the cave.

| Stop picking your nose then. We have tissues for a reason, and if it's one of the nasty ones that you can't blow out, you can wait to wash your hands. |
