I'm thinking in terms of 2,500 - 10,000 pellets at a time, .177 target wadcutters.
I'll have to practice a lot if I'm ever going to beat the other postal competitors on this forum!

I know you can get boxes of 2500 pellets from places like PyramydAir as well as "sleeves" of tins (10 or 20 tins in a plastic roll)- but I'm not sure about "bulk pellets" like a big honkin' box with say 20,000 pellets in it. There's a place in Canada that apparently does this- Cibies Targets or somesuch- but shipping heavy stuff like lead pellets across borders can't be cheap.
Perhaps someone else has a good source for "bulk" pellets... |

A couple of boxes of 2,500 will do me nicely! Thanks for the info, Eric, I'll contact PyramydAir!

Thanks, I ordered 4 tins (500 each tin) from Pyramyd. As they say, "4th tin free!". 2,000 pellets should last me awhile.

Did you happen to get a price on a box of 2500 pellets while you were speaking with them? I'm just curious what they're charging these days. |

Well, that's why: now I have an air pistol to feed! (Along with self, wife, daughter, dog, 3 cats, and several fish. Four of the fish died today, though. )

I didn't call them, Eric, just posted an internet order. Didn't see the big boxes listed, though.

I've never seen Pyramid list the boxes either- but apparently they do sell them- perhaps it's a telephone call-only thing or somesuch.
Four of your fish died today? You didn't shoot them, did you? |

For 'match' consistant pellets they probably are least expensive.
RWS match - H&N match 5,000 = $100~$110+shipping |

If my shooting were what they had to fear, they'd still be alive!

Isn't that 2 cents a shot? That's not bad.
