Seeing as it was a nice day and inspired by Eric's soda pop, I emptied the lawn mower of petrol, drank a couple of bottles of beer and I was set up for a bit of target shooting. The first target (crown topper one) was a bit lacking in effect, so try again (crown topper two) blew it out completly, crown toppers don't seem to be performing very well today, so try a pellet tin lid, Success!, Maybe the whole tin next time.

Hey Al

Nice Vid Alstone!!
Think we'll blame the first shot on the beer, Not that I have an excuse!!

I like the music on the "Pellet Tin Lid" section Laughing .

Take it that was two-stroke petrol/Gasoline, As there was a bit more black smoke than usual. Guess your grass will be growing long from now on!!

Also: What editing software did you use??

Just be careful about the "Whole tin" idea, Fire extinguisher might be a good idea, In case you didn't have one with you.

Stevie Thumb Up!

Hi Stevie Yes I think there was a problem with the petrol, it usually works better than that.
The software was Ulead VideoStudio 6 which works quite well. Eric was on about using some software with a zoom facility but I think the only software I can think of that does that is Adobe Premier.

Hi Al

Maybe the petrol/gasoline had gone stale in the lawnmower, But judging from some of your previous pics in the "Winchester Report", That lawnmower gets used quite often, Or maybe I'm wrong, You could have very realistic AstroTurf.

Nice garden Alstone!!!

Blowing out the flame on the second cap/topper was interesting! Is that what we'd calling "pushing air"?

I'll have to try that one day- but perhaps my assistant will have to remain in the house for it.

Seems like we're all going to be filmmakers in our next lives at this rate. Smile

Hi AirGunEric

If you are going to try the Exploding Crown Toppers one day, It's probably best to do it when your little assistant is at School/Play School/Kinder-garden, And then show her when she gets back, As petrol/gasoline can be very volatile when lit and therefore very dangerous and unpredictable!!

I can't stress the fact enough that a working fire extinguisher must be kept in reaching distance whilst engaging in this sort of activity.

As for being filmmakers in our next life, Maybe so, But in this life we're nothing but chronic gun-toting pyromaniacs, LOL!!!

No it's real turf, the only problem is that I water it, feed it and cut it, then the dog comes out pees on it and kills it!.

Hi Al

Maybe your dog thinks He/She is doing His/Her part of keeping the lawn by watering it as well, Bit doesn't realise it's doing more harm than good.
Dog's don't usually mean any harm, But that's Dog's for ya I guess!!
