Anybody have one? What is your opinion? Im looking to purchase one but I am wondering if its worth waiting for the Outlaws to become available. Are the Korean rifles as accurate as the Quackenbush is reported to be? Also would like to hear opinions on ammo vs. targets. Just want to get a general idea of the type of ammo for different shots. I know someone mentioned round balls were accurate and pentrated the same/better than diablo/conical style ammo. Although I also heard round balls have shorter range. Insight? Mr. Green

in my own opinion on the 600fpe quackenbush. why not .44 magnum? i guess the whole "that much power from a charge of air" has it's draw to those with the $$.

sniper- Thanks for the response. Quick question: Why are you bored with your 23 'powder burners' as indicated in your signature? Sorry more of a rhetorical question. Ill ask you another rhetorical question: How many of your airguns have you had to register with your state/authorities? Anti-gun lobbyists and supporters seem to be gaining an upperhand with the current administration. 'In my own opinion' of course, you assume too much. Mr. Green

sniper- um yeah...rhetorical questions. Obviously went over your head, but I was merely trying to answer your "Why not a .44 Magnum" question. Simply put, the draw of big bore airguns for me is answered in my last post. Though some may have different reasons for their use of big bores, mine are more simple. Cheap/fun to shoot (as you pointed out), no licensing required (read anti-gun), shorter range (decreasing hunting areas), and yes it is pretty cool (200+ fpe on a charge of air). Now I might be reading your original post wrong but it seems your comments are suggesting that big bore airguns are simply "novelty items" for those of us who have the $$$. Again I say you assume too much. Mr. Green

Here is an example that kinda runs along with the point. We currently have a bill up for vote locally that will ban Pit Bulls and all variations of the breed. If it passes, that breed will be rounded up and taken to the pound. While at the pound they will not be available for adoption and will be euphanized. Ole Fido thats been a family pet for years suddenly is deemed a menace to society. Yeah I know ridiculous right? Heres the kicker...They have also tried to slip in (under the sub-sections of the bill) a ban on pocket knives. This is worded to include any knife that will fold out with a grip and blade that will carry in your pocket (hmm sounds like a utility knife would be included right?). Also in the sub sections are laws against baiting and trapping game. Same section also states you will not be able to trap game for the purpose of a pet. Most hunting here is of wild hogs and most here use dogs to hunt( read Pit Bull and their variations). Also most here choose to hunt with knives only, no guns. Now to the subject of taking game for pets. This would stop the trapping of hogs to use for the purpose of 'training' dogs/pups for hunting. And the list goes on....
How long will it be till the government knocks on your door telling you to turn over "all" your weapons? If you think this is far fetched again I say you assume to much. America is no longer the 'land of the free', it is the 'land of the special interest'.

assume 200fpe would sound like .380 or .38 spcl??

These are some sad times we live in. Sometimes I wonder what kind of country will there be left for my kids. Damn shame. The really sad part is we as American's have become so desensitized and bamboozled that most dont care about up or down, right or wrong, sane or insane. You my friend have got it right....sheep. Anyways back to the regularly scheduled progam...
As far as the report, I am curious about it also. I do not own one yet and I have not yet made a decision either way. I am hoping someone with some experience will chime in soon.

hey branz,

you know what else i have in my arsenal that should be registered?? in my bedroom i have an assult golf club. i can fire 500 swings without reloading. i have a couple assult baseball bats, same ammo. in the kitchen i have an assult knife set. funny thing, last summer i bought a new assult ax at homedepot and no on raised an eyebrow at me walking across the parking lot to my truck with it..

Butcher45- Hmm...That is the very one I was considering. Did you have a problem with your 2 tube leaking? I have been reading about leaking problems between the 2 tubes and am wondering if the single tube design has it worked out. Do you have any chony numbers? Groupings? Another Korean rifle I was considering is the DragonSlayer. Have you had any expierience? Thanks for the response. Mr. Green
